We are excited to announce that Electe has officially joined the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the international organization that develops open standards for the web. This milestone represents not only an important recognition for our company, but also an opportunity to actively influence the future of web standards for the benefit of small and medium-sized businesses in Italy and Europe.
Why this partnership is important
In today's digital landscape, data privacy regulations are becoming increasingly stringent, and companies need efficient solutions to manage and analyze their data without compromising security. Our expertise in AI-driven analytics puts us in a prime position to help develop standards that will help shape the digital future of enterprises.
As our CEO Fabio Lauria stated:
"Our goal is to promote interoperability and privacy standards that enable SMEs to effectively leverage data while maintaining high levels of security. Many SMBs face data integration and regulatory compliance challenges on a daily basis. Through our participation in W3C working groups, we want to ensure that future Web standards address these needs, creating a more equitable digital environment for businesses of all sizes."
Our contribution to W3C
As active members of W3C, we will participate in several strategic working groups:
- Data Privacy Vocabularies and Controls: we will work on developing taxonomies for privacy and data protection in line with GDPR and other international regulations.
- Linked Web Storage: we will help improve data storage and access control to facilitate secure and efficient management of corporate information.
- Web Machine Learning: we will collaborate on implementing machine learning capabilities directly in browsers to reduce dependence on cloud solutions and improve data privacy.
What it means for our customers
This collaboration will result in concrete benefits for all users of our platform:
- Increased interoperability: it will be easier to integrate your data with different applications and services.
- Simplified regulatory compliance: the standards we will contribute to will make it easier to comply with privacy regulations.
- Democratized access to AI: We will continue to make advanced technologies accessible even to companies with limited resources.
The results we have already achieved speak for themselves: an 87 percent reduction in data processing time and a 278 percent increase in platform views demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach.
Our future goals
This announcement follows our recent recognition at the Netty Awards, where we received the AI Innovation of the Year award in November 2024. We will leverage our W3C membership to further enhance the capabilities of our platform, with a focus on real-time collaborative analytics and privacy-preserving data sharing mechanisms.
As Fabio Lauria points out, "The future of business depends on data intelligence, but that future must be inclusive. Through our work with the W3C, we are committed to ensuring that the evolution of the Web supports businesses of all sizes, not just those with extensive resources."
